Duchess of Cambridge Wears Poppy Brooch to Honor Late Grandmother, a WWII Code Breaker

The Duchess of Cambridge added a private contact to her Remembrance Day look.
Kate Middleton attended the annual Remembrance Sunday memorial service in London with the royal household carrying a novel model of the usual poppy brooch worn on the vacation.
Middleton selected the Code breakers Brooch for the ceremony, which based on the official Poppy Store web page is “impressed by the rotors of the Enigma machines, from which Allied cryptologists efficiently decrypted an unlimited variety of enemy messages in the course of the Second World Struggle.”
